Indiana Agriculture and Technology School is powered by a team of professional educators committed to ensuring each student is engaged and successful.
Lead Teacher
Student's courses are managed by a Lead Teacher that makes sure students are engaged and understand the material that is being delivered. These fully licensed Indiana Teachers provide feedback and grades over their coursework.
Learning Advocate
Each Student is assigned a Student Learning Advocate. These support staff are Indiana licensed teachers who will guide students academically while providing personalized instruction using collaboration tools, through email, and over the phone during office hours.
Success Coach
Learning and development is also empowered by Success Coaches and Concept Coaches who will tutor, answer course questions, and mentor students as they progress through their coursework.

IATS is a hybrid, public Indiana Charter High School and Middle School that offers a high quality core education and hands-on project based learning in the Agriculture and Technology Career Fields.
IATS is currently enrolling grades 7-12 .
A hybrid school utilizes both at home online and in person learning. The student’s core curriculum is driven by an online platform while our career-based classes utilize in-person, project based learning. IATS Hybrid classes meet 1-2 times a week at a farm campus for Active Participation Days.
IATS offers a hybrid program to students and a fully-online class option. In the hybrid option, all students are required to attend in-person class days 1-2 times a week during the school year.
For a student’s core curriculum there is no tuition fee! Students may however, have course fees associated with career pathways and outside curriculum.
Our core curriculum is taught asynchronously, meaning that students work at their own pace to complete their course work. Our classes are pre-recorded so students may move on their own through the courses, while the teacher and student learning advocates monitor their progress and grades to make sure they stay on track and master the curriculum.
Participation Days (APDs) are on the following days at each Hybrid Campus:
- Trafalgar: Tuesdays, Wednesdays; Advanced APD on Thursdays
- Rensselaer: Wednesdays; Advanced APD on Thursdays
- Greencastle: Tuesdays; Advanced APD on Thursdays

Yes. IATS is an Indiana State Accredited school. Our courses meet the Indiana standards and will transfer to other Indiana Public Schools.
The 2026-27 School Year begins on August 7, 2026 and concludes on June 5, 2027.
